Hello, this is Florence Henderson. Thank you for your interest in The FloH Club, where technology is simple! I am so excited to have this opportunity to speak with you through my very own blog. I had been hearing about blogs for a while but didn't know exactly what they were. Well, a blog is a journal that is published on the Internet. Just like a traditional journal, a blog is updated frequently. At first, I thought "blog" was such a funny word. But now I understand it is an abbreviation of "Web log," or a running record presented on the World Wide Web. That made sense! I had to laugh, because we used the same idea to come up with the name for The FloH Club: "FloH" is a shortened version of "Florence Henderson."

My goal for this blog is to share my own experiences with computers and my growing knowledge of technology. I am eager to pass along information I learn that might also be helpful to you. After you read my words, please feel free to add your own comments. And check back often for new entries! Over time, we will develop a collection of useful facts about computer technology that can be searched for reference. Topics might include news about The FloH Club, common technology terms, computer hardware and software, peripheral devices, the Internet, communication, entertainment, accessibility, and troubleshooting. Please don't worry if you don't recognize all of these words right now. We'll get to that! My philosophy is, "Let's learn together!"
